Kansas City Peterbilt is Hiring a Parts Delivery Driver Near Saint Joseph, MO
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
- Ability to pass drug test upon offer of employment.
- Ability to use a computer.
- Will be trained on parts departments computer inventory system.
- Ability to communicate well orally and in writing with customers, vendors and other contacts.
- Professional in appearance.
JOB SUMMARY:
- The Parts Driver delivers and picks up parts for the dealership.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Delivers parts to customers
- Pick up parts from customers
- Stocking of parts
- Help maintain professional appearance of parts department
- Research availability of parts for outside salespeople
- Invoicing for parts counter and outside parts sales
- Responsible for core returns
- Responsible for basic upkeep of the company truck and keep it clean
- Assists accounting with various tasks
- Placing vendor orders
- Calling in local orders
- Assists with inventory control (bin locations, shelving, reorganizing parts)
- Responsible for reorganizing parts display area
- Help the showroom and shop maintain a professional level of cleanliness
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- This is a physically demanding position.
- Will drive company provided vehicle at least 5 hours per shift.
- Will lift and transport parts weighing up to 40 pounds several times a day.
- Will be exposed to noise, dust, exhaust fumes and other hazardous and nonhazardous materials.
- Will be required to wear dealership uniform at all times.

Kansas City Peterbilt offers New and Used Truck Sales, over 4,500 square foot Parts Display area, a (17) Bay Service Dept., and a (22) bay Body Shop. Our Body Shop includes a state of the art down draft paint booth, alignment and frame machines. Kansas City Peterbilt also has a PacLease franchise location for truck rental and leasing.Additionally, our Kansas City location boasts Utility Trailer Sales of Kansas City. A full dealership in its own right for New and Used trailers and includes a (12) bay Service Department, and a Parts Department.
