Kalispell Budget Rent a Car is Hiring a Lead Customer Service Representative Near Whitefish, MT

Budget Rental Car is looking for a Lead Customer Service Representative to join our team in the Whitefish area. We need an enthusiastic person who is customer service minded and enjoys sales. Primary duties include making reservations, processing rental transactions, and offering products and cleaning cars.

Some of the tasks will include:

  • Monitor and Manage vehicle availability. Take the necessary steps to manage the availability of the location’s inventory.
  • Ensure and assist the Location Manager in maintaining established systems for the safety, security, and documentation of the assets at the location including rental vehicles, computers and other office equipment, petty cash, fuel, maintain appropriate pre-paid fuel pricing and that cash and check payments are deposited in the bank in a timely manner. Ensure that vehicle damage is accounted for and processed properly and in a timely manner. Ensure that preventive maintenance is completed on the rental vehicles as required by the manufacturer specifications and documented when completed.
  • Assist with identifying supplies needed and ordering supplies.
  • Overall cleanliness, organization, and efficient operation of the car lot areas.
  • Opening and closing of rental contracts as requested by the Location & Assistant Managers.
  • Clean and inspect vehicles to ensure they are clean and in safe operating condition, adhering to company policy & procedure. Check vehicles thoroughly for any items left behind by customers. Install and remove license plates and enter/update license plate #s and expiration dates in the computer. Ensure proper paperwork/manuals are in the glove box of the vehicle, and snow brushes are in the vehicles in the winter.
  • Inspect vehicles for damage to the interior, exterior, windshield, and under carriage and complete appropriate reports to document any new damage including pictures of the damage. Document any smoking fees, cleaning fees, fuel charges, mechanical issues, or any other vehicle related issue to the Location Manager and/or Assistant Manager.
  • Year around outside work including cleaning rental cars in the elements required.
  • This position requires the individual to be a self starter and have good time management skills.
  • Doing sales calls to local hotels and other establishments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
