Content Producer:

We are looking for a talented and versatile Content Producer with a strong background in both videography and photography. This role demands a creative individual who can work closely with Kalamazoo Outdoor Gourmet and Urban Bonfire Directors to bring our marketing campaigns to life. The Content Producer will be responsible for creating high quality visual content, managing both in-house and external production efforts, and collaborating on the ideation of content pieces.

Content Execution & Management Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Brand Directors to understand and fulfill content requirements.
• Oversee the entire content creation lifecycle from brainstorming and strategy discussion to concept development and delivery.
• Manage content production budgets and detailed timelines, along with product shopping and logistics when necessary.

Video and Photography Production Responsibilies:

• Lead the pre-production, production, and post-production stages of internal shoots, including creative concept development, resource management, and editing.
• Manage the editing process for both video and photographic content, ensuring final products are suitable for distribution across multiple channels.

External Agency Coordination:

• Serve as the primary contact for agencies involved in larger projects to provide necessary resources and support, manage adherence to timelines, approvals, and final deliverables.
• Build and maintain relationships with a diverse pool of freelance talent to address various production needs.

Cross-Functional Teamwork:

• Engage with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to content creation.
• Facilitate effective communication among teams to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• 5 years of demonstrated experience in content production, with a strong portfolio in video and photography.
• Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a detail-oriented fashion.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
• Creative mindset with excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Expert level proficiency in video and photo editing software, specifically Adobe and Creative Suite.
• Fluency in other language (French, Spanish) preferred but not required.

Location & Travel

• The primary work location will be Kalamazoo Outdoor Gourmets exquisite kitchen showroom in Chicagos West Loop.
• Some travel as needed to Kalamazoo Outdoor Gourmets manufacturing center in Galesburg, MI, as well as trade shows, industry and client events, and other engagements, as necessary.
