This position is ideal for Systems Administrators who are looking to improve their IT skills and work in a positive, flexible work environment. In general, KAI Partners (KAIP), Inc. Systems Administrators are responsible for resolving Information Technology (IT) issues. Work includes but is not limited to Windows Operating Systems (both server and desktop), SharePoint, MS Teams, MS Project, PowerBI, and Internet Information Server (IIS). Work is performed remotely and at client locations. Roughly 10% Travel is required for this position.

THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE YOU TO PASS A DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE BACKGROUND CHECK. 

Required Experience and Qualifications

6 - 10 years of relevant experience in the following: 

• Experience with deploying and administering Windows servers and servers in the cloud
• Experience with deploying and administering Microsoft Active Directory (AD), Azure AD, Exchange mail servers
• Experience with developing, deploying, and administering SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Flow & OneDrive
• Experience with Microsoft Power Apps & PowerBI
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Project & Visio
• Experience with remote monitoring & management (RMM) tools (i.e., Kaseya, n-able; continuum)
• Ability to implement Microsoft best practices
• Assist and/or provide troubleshooting support of the server, LAN network or other IT systems, as necessary
• Strong diagnostic and analytical skills
• Ability to determine incident scope and impact quickly and accurately
• Ability to multi-task with an appropriate sense of urgency
• Working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Proven understanding of routing and switching topologies and protocols
• Candidates must demonstrate advanced technical skills and excellent communication abilities
• Ability to complete work assignments based on agreed-upon deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
