This is a key position covering marketing for six skilled nursing facilities across four counties in Pennsylvania. The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for census development and coordination of admissions to the centers. This individual represents and promotes public relations through interactions with referral sources including: hospitals, assisted living homes, home health agencies, geriatric care managers, financial planners, social workers, discharge planners, physicians, mental health providers, community groups, senior centers, elder care attorneys, guardianship agencies and others to establish and expand relationships to encourage appropriate referrals.

Duties will include:

• Arranging presentations on Kadima for staff meetings in hospitals, nursing homes, doctor’s offices, and private companies.
• Attending conferences, trade shows and networking events to represent Kadima. Networks with others in the industry to develop other lead sources.
• Working towards meeting short and long-term census goals.
• Acting as liaison for any clinical questions or documents requested by the facility’s Nursing staff on potential referrals or residents currently hospitalized and assist with the screening of potential residents.
• Working with Kadima’s development team to best represent the continuum of care provided by the network. Will make referrals to other providers in Kadima network as appropriate.
• Communicating with potential residents and families informing and assisting them with the admission process.
• Working on obtaining HMO and other third-party authorizations for accepted referrals once placement is confirmed. 
•  Assisting in the planning and hosting of special events held at Kadima.
• Accounting for daily usage of time and identifying contacts made as well as referrals obtained through an End of Day email log. 
• Providing direct supervisor(s) with anticipated weekly schedule for community outreach.
• Must be willing to travel up to 100% of the time (Wilkes Barre, Hershey, Lititz and Pottstown areas)
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous experience should include marketing, customer service, innovative work ethic and organization skills.
• Proven outside sales experience, preferably in skilled nursing
• Active listening skills, skilled communicator with a team player attitude and ability.
• Basic computer skills
