Be the Change

Take the reins as K. Hovnanian’s new Change Management officer. Supported by our Innovation Team, you will design and implement a company-wide workstream transformation - via a new National Strategy that streamlines communications and enhances collaboration among internal stakeholders and across departmental silos.

Create the Change

As a leader in our National Strategy initiative, you will install best practices, guidelines and standards; and expand our capacity to navigate change by evaluating stakeholder readiness, goals, impact, resistance, performance gaps, and training needs.

You will activate internal change champions to promote stakeholder engagement, via best practices, formalized approaches, storytelling, and relationship building. Also, create branded communications and messaging for promotional purposes, and to open new channels.

As K. Hovnanian’s prime agent of change, you will interact across all participating teams, and partner with corporate leadership to promote clarity, engagement, and transparency. You’ll help ensure early integration and facilitate accurate calibration; measure change adoption against success metrics; and provide updates and milestone markers.

Manage the Change

Direct the efforts of supporting communications specialists, consultants, and vendors; and also guide in-house corporate teams advancing your initiatives. Interview, hire, and supervise new Associates; then plan, assign, direct, and review their work. Address and resolve problems, and ensure that new direct reports participate in the Company’s onboarding program.

Requirements to Make a Change

You have 7-10 years of experience in Change Management, Organizational Development, communications, or related fields. An advanced degree in Organizational Development, I/O Psychology, MBA, or equivalent is required.

Bring deep knowledge of leading OCM principles, methodologies and tools; as well as ability to assess, build and execute tailored OCM plans and strategies.

Change Management experience in real estate development, homebuilding or construction is highly preferred, as is skill in collaborating with remote teams.

World-class written, spoken, and visual communications skills are essential, as are incisive reasoning, advanced pattern recognition, and ability to administer multiple simultaneous projects. Additional personal superpowers include creativity, curiosity, and comfort with ambiguity, abstract reasoning, and creating/applying frameworks to diagnose problems.

You must have experience in crafting safe spaces for active listening, trust, and open discussion.
