BASICFUNCTION:
Reportingto the Chief Advancement Officer, the Mission Advancement Manager workscollaboratively with all areas of the Mission Advancement department to ensurethat we are providing excellent service to donors and optimally using the organization’sdonor data management systems to drive strategies, inform decision making, andenhance and grow support from current and prospective donors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/TASKS:
•This role supports the Chief Advancement Officerand Mission Advancement department overseeing the administrative andoperational functions including but not limited to management of internaldocuments, subscriptions, and supplies.
•Serves as the administrator and expert on thedonor management system. Responsibilities include:
oMaintenance of all constituent records includingcontact information, relationships, event participation, and all other relevantdata
oAccurate and timely gift processing andacknowledgements
oThe delivery of accurate and timely results inresponse to information/data requests including, but not limited to:
§Producingregular and custom reports that communicate progress toward goals
§Proactivelyengaging in data analysis to generate insight about giving trends, constituentengagement, etc.
oServes as the “go to” resource for all questionsrelated to the database and industry best practices for Advancement Services
•Works closely with the accounting team to ensureaccurate gift reconciliation, provide audit support, department invoicing and monthlycredit card reconciliation
•Support in the organization and production of constituentand gift-related documents such as pledge agreements, grant and estatedocumentation, and historical records
•Coordinate and implement campaign relatedsolicitation communications, including copy writing and editing, using directmail, email marketing, and website
•In collaboration with the Chief AdvancementOfficer, oversees the life cycle of a grant from proposal, through reportingand payment
•Designs and implements processes and policies thatcreate efficient, effective, and consistent management of data informationacross the department. Proactively communicates with team members to shareprocedures and provide education about best practices
•Serves as liaison to the Foundation’s Board of Directors,planning and executing three annual meetings
