We are looking for a customer focused, results driven store manager to be responsible for the overall store operations. The store manager is responsible for implementing and overseeing all aspects of customer service, retail operations, and employee management. The successful manager will be able to enhance customer satisfaction, meet sales and profitability goals, and manage staff effectively. The store manager is responsible for ensuring the staff give great customer service as well as monitoring the upkeep and financial performance of the store. Must be open to a flexible schedule in a retail environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Be responsible for their own personal excellent customer service and the excellent customer service of the entire staff

• Oversee staffing requirements and meet sales goals by hiring, training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to store staff

• Oversee daily operational needs, goals, and development of the store by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures to ensure compliance.

• Maintain outstanding store conditions and merchandising standards

• Report on buying trends, customer needs, profits, etc to determine the need for improvements in the store

• Propose innovative ideas to increase market share, expand store traffic, and optimize profitability

• Address all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances, etc) to maintain the store’s reputation

• Address additional store manager duties as needed

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• A friendly, positive, customer focused attitude is a must

• Proven successful experience as a retail manager

• Knowledge of retail management best practices

• Strong understanding of sales and customer service techniques

• Demonstrated ability to maintain and work within a budget

• Powerful leadership, teamwork, and organizational skills

• Ability to work flexible hours and multitask in a retail environment

• Good computer database and productivity software skills

• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills

• Market/Industry knowledge is a plus

• Ability to stand for long periods of time and to lift up to 50lbs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
