Duties and Responsibilities:

• Process A/P for subcontractors’ billings and invoice payables entry into NetSuite
• Process overhead A/P into NetSuite
• Set up and maintain vendor & customer database files (in NetSuite), together with paper filing system
• Perform vendor statement reconciliation, addressing discrepancies (when applicable)
• Determine and resolve discrepancies in A/P accounts
• Receive, review, and process all employee expense reports for accuracy and proper expense disclosure
• Any other duties, as assigned

Additional duties may also include:

• Assist the Staff Accountant and CFO in recording, reconciling, & auditing accounting data
• Assist the CFO in the preparation of job cost & WIP reports
• Maintain and order office supplies and equipment in accordance with company purchasing policies and budgetary restrictions
• Perform general office administrative duties as required, including phone coverage, routing mail, preparing packages for shipment, scanning documents, faxing, copying, printing, etc.
• Maintain list of company licenses by state
• Provide back-up for the payroll specialist position, when needed
• Other work as assigned

Qualifications & Preferred Attributes

• Three ( ) years of accounting and administration experience
• Proficiency in NetSuite (or similar accounting package) is required
• In-depth experience with Microsoft Office suite, with an emphasis on Excel
• High level of integrity and discretion
• Strong verbal and business communications skills
• Analytical and strategic thinker – hands on and out-of-the box
• Strong organizational and time management skills (work well under pressure)
• Thrives in a collaborative, team player office environment
• This position requires an individual who is "hands-on", with the ability to multi-task

Education

• Associate degree in accounting, business, or finance (Bachelor's degree preferred)

This hourly/non-exempt position will be located at JSM's Corporate Headquarters in Tavares, FL. The company offers a relaxed working environment, with office hours of 8:30 am to 5:00 pm (with a 30-minute break for lunch).
