Job SummaryPayroll Administrator is responsible for processing and analyzing payroll on a weekly basis. This person is accountable for collecting timekeeping information, incorporating a variety of deductions into payroll, and issuing pay and pay-related information to employees.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Maintain and updates payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data|
  • Administer timekeeping platforms and generate weekly upload reports
  • Run and analyze earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and other payroll related reports
  • Process garnishment and submit payments to the respective agencies
  • Assist with filing weekly tax deposits
  • Approve workflows for employee tax status adjustments as well as any information about withholding
  • Assist with processing weekly payroll by auditing final reports to ensure accuracy and maintain data integrity
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
  • Maintain compliance policies and procedures for payroll
  • Main point of contact for level 1 payroll related questions
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed

Qualifications and Skills

  • Payroll experience required
  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources, accounting or finance is preferred
  • Sage Timberline experience is preferred, but not required
  • Strong attention to detail required
  • Excellent communication skills

Computer Systems

  • Proficiencies in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

Salary Information

Annual Salary Range: $85,000 to $110,000

The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
