Our client, a strong middle-market investment bank, is looking to add an experienced Associate 2 to their Technology M&A Team. The role will sit in Boston, SF or MSP and cover software.

The Technology Investment Banking division offers Associates an exceptional opportunity to gain direct exposure to clients and senior bankers. Associates play an essential role in developing and managing client relationships. They are integral parts of deal teams, taking an active role in the coverage and execution of a broad range of transactions for clients.

Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including modeling, to assess investment opportunities and target company performance in the

Technology sector. Market Research: Stay updated on Technology industry trends and market dynamics, providing valuable insights and recommendations to clients.

Deal Support: Assist in M&A advisory, equity, and debt capital market transactions by preparing pitch materials, conducting due diligence, and contributing to deal structuring.

Valuation: Create and maintain complex financial models for company and asset valuations using various methodologies.Managing and Mentoring Analysts.

Preferred Qualifications:

3 years of Investment Banking M&A experience (Analyst to Associate promotes or MBA Associates with 1-2 years of experience).

Experience in the technology industry.

Superb oral and written communication skills.

Takes ownership of work and can perform under pressure.

Attention to detail.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelors degree.

Completion of the following Exams: SIE, Series 63, Series 79.

Salary Details:

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $175,000 to $225,000. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
