Skywave Communications, Inc., a Rochester, NY based Public Safety Communications company and Motorola Solutions Service Elite Specialist, is seeking customer focused and quality driven candidates to join our team.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ability to perform precision rack assembly work by aligning, configuring, and properly installing communications equipment into racks and cabinets
- Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, technical drawings, specifications and procedures to accurately assemble communications equipment and products
- Independently carry out required assembly procedures
- Solder, crimp, cut, apply connectors to and route wires/cables according to schematics
- Strip and apply heat shrink to electrical conductors
- Perform basic cable assembly integrity tests
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Follow prescribed safety regulations
