Journey Church is Hiring a Facilities Technician Near Lake Worth, FL
Job Purpose:
The purpose of the Facilities Technician role at Journey Church is to oversee and assist with all maintenance required at each building/campus; to work with the Facilities Team to accomplish the goal of providing and maintaining an environment of excellence in order to accomplish the vision of Journey Church.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Facilities Manager/Director to help run all facets of Facilities
- Meet weekly with Facilities Manager/Director to discuss and prepare for all projects in the upcoming week (services, projects, outside vendor work, etc.)
- Respond to all emergencies and make assessment. Work closely with Facilities Manager/Director to find a solution when necessary
- Complete all work tickets assigned in a prompt manner
- Responsible for making sure as best as possible everything is in working order for services, events, and conferences
Education / Experience:
- Have working knowledge of basic construction, electrical, and plumbing
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and complete tasks
- Must posess basic computer skills
- Must be willing to to work flexible hours and be willing to adapt to last minute changes in the regular schedule
