Josselyn is Hiring a Part-Time Mental Health Therapist Near Northfield, IL

Job Summary

The Part-Time Therapist is responsible for clinical services provided to children, adolescents and/or adults, as assigned. The clinician is held accountable for all related clinical, administrative, and quality and compliance responsibilities. The clinician is only paid at a rate of $65/hour when seeing a client and after all documentation is completed.

Essential Responsibilities and Metrics

  • Provides therapy, counseling, and crisis intervention to clients and their families
  • Creates IMCANS (IATP) Assessment (Completes IATP within 30 days of initial meeting with client, modifies and reviews as needed, updates and records IATP in CIS as needed and ensures updates are completed prior to six months due date)
  • Use of supervision or consultation when required or needed
  • All Progress Notes will be entered into the medical record as soon as possible but in no more than three business days of the date of service. No payment will be made on uncompleted documentation
  • Provide timely completion of Columbia and Ohio Scales (for children)
  • Compliance with all policy and procedures
  • Keep weekly schedule current and notify supervisor and front desk availability
  • Be responsive to the business office regarding client fees/payments
  • Complete requests time off in a timely manner through the Program Director
  • Represent the agency with integrity

Qualifications

  • Clinically related graduate degree, LCPC, LCSW required
  • Three professional references that reflect ability to perform clinical work
  • 2 years of post-master’s degree experience required
