Description
Key Responsibilities
- Provides effective leadership and consistently improve manufacturing standards, utilization of equipment, facilities, and personnel to obtain maximum efficiency and meet or exceed performance objectives.
- Ensures the safety of each individual during the entire shift.
- Ensures that all production, quality and safety goals are met.
- Manages the daily production schedules and work force requirements to ensure objectives are met.
- Responsible for the effective managements of the following operation(s): HTST/Pasteurization systems, Fillers, Packaging Line(s) and Batching Systems
- Ensures all required production and sanitation documentation is completed and accurate.
- Assists in troubleshooting production problems and developing preventive or corrective actions.
- Assists management in implementing changes to improve quality, to improve work process and reduce costs.
- Provides leadership & training to Joriki Inc. Employees in regarding the following: Quality Policies, Food Safety, SOP’s, Compliance and Product & Process performance, HACCP, Sanitation, Health and Safety, Environmental policies
- Ensure GMPs and Management of Allergens is followed as per procedures.
- Ensure spillages are cleaned up immediately to eliminate the potential for cross contamination of allergens.
Requirements
Education & Experience Requirements
- 2-5 yrs experience within the Food & Beverage Industry
- Post Secondary High School Education
- Computer Literacy in Word, Excel, Powerpoint
- HACCP Trained preferable (will train)
- Experience in Production & Sanitation Processes & Equipment Operations & Troubleshooting
- Sound Knowledge of SOP’s, GMP’s, Food Handling Hygiene
