Full time, 36 hours per week

Job Overview:

The Director of Compliance provides direction and oversight of the Compliance, Safety/ Risk Management, Privacy & Security, and Accreditation Programs. The Director of Compliance also serves as the Privacy & Security Officer as well as the Compliance Officer.

Duties:

  • Program oversight for: Compliance, Accreditation, Medical Records.
  • Regularly reviews Compliance, Risk Management, and Accreditation programs; developing, updating and implementing appropriate assessments, plans and reports; advising administrative leadership and governing body Compliance and Information Security Committee and governing board of potential risk areas.
  • Responsible for the facilitation and investigation/process improvement for FTCA Claims following the FTCA process and also on the HRSA FTCA websites consistent with the current HRSA Program Assistance Letter. This will require facilitation of placing specific documents on litigation hold, facilitation of interviews, completing investigations, keeping the President/CEO and Board apprised and working with the contact for DHHS in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for education for staff on key regulations such as Stark, Anti-kickback, False Claims, and other state and federal laws.
  • Will assist with managing system contractual agreements to ensure agreements are consistent with state and federal regulations. 
  • Assist the manager of accreditation on key renewal applications such as HRSA, AAAHC, FTCA, PCMH, and others.
  • Ensures education on compliance and risk management is regularly provided for employees, agents, affiliated providers, and others of the organization.
