Main Purpose of Job

This position is part of the Administration Bureau support services for the Carroll County Health Department. This position plans and executes administrative support services for clinical administration services (client scheduling, intake, exit, record updates, fee collection, etc.), birth and death certificates and administration (conference rooms, main switchboard, brochure, website updates, etc.) and to support and reach under-served individuals in the Hispanic community to provide an opportunity for positive health outcomes through all CCHD services and community outreach. Spanish/English translation ability is required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education : Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.

Experience: One year of experience performing administrative staff, clerical, clerical technical, or secretarial work.

Notes:

1. Candidates may substitute 30 credit hours from an accredited college or university for the required experience.

2. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a non-commissioned officer involving staff work requiring regular use of independent judgment and analysis in applying and interpreting rules and regulations in accordance with agency laws and policies on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.
SELECTIVE QUALIFICATIONS

The selected candidate must be fluent in both Spanish and English.

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The desired candidate should possess experience working with Electronic Health Records and experience scheduling clinic appointments.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Candidates may be responsible for providing their own transportation as needed to access meetings, remote locations, and job destinations as assigned.
