Purpose of the Painter Role

As a Painter you are taking ownership of helping to restore homes for the communities of people we serve. You must provide excellent craftsmanship and outstanding communication to help us achieve our purpose of restoring lives.

We are looking for someone who

•  Has 1-2 years of on-job experience in a verifiable paint role.
• Can function in a high stress environment that can change daily.

• Has excellent time management, delegation, and multi-tasking skills.
• Is self-motivated and can work independently and as a team.

Key responsibilities and duties

• Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of paint and job site safety.
• Skilled in all aspects of site prep, painting, spraying finishes and touch up work. 
• Work on jobsites daily and always maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Drive company vehicle to jobsites- follow all traffic laws. 
• Communicate technical knowledge and expectations in a professional/effective manner to homeowners who may be unfamiliar with painter terminology and process. 
• Oversee 1-2 staff – ensure high quality of work and set clear expectations.
• Work diligently to ensure a highly satisfied customer.
• Work week is typically 40-45 hours a week, not expected to exceed 50 hours during busy times.

Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and climbing. The employee must have the ability to lift and/or move items over 75 pounds.
• Candidate for employment must have a valid driver’s license and a clear driving record. 
• Candidate must pass a criminal background check to perform work on insurance related claims.
• Basic knowledge of smartphone/email technology.
