The Warehouse Associate II keeps Safelite moving by loading glass shipments and restocking pallets in our warehouses. These team members ensure that our glass reaches its destination through efficient warehouse operations and occasionally drive delivery trucks for glass transportation.
What You'll Receive
Schedule: 4am - 12:30pm
Competitive weekly base pay starting at $19/hour.
Paid training and all the necessary tools and resources for success.
What You'll Do
Safely operate forklifts and reach trucks.
Safely operate the picker to stock and pick glass inventory in the warehouse.
Manage, log, and stock incoming automotive glass, accessories, and supplies.
May drive and deliver automotive glass, accessories, and other items from the warehouse to store locations using a DOT/Non-DOT vehicle.
Handle inventory and cycle counting.
Receive store returns or Distribution Center replenishment shipments.
Assist with outbound shipping functions for order fulfillment.
Collaborate on maintaining and improving internal shipping and receiving processes.
Perform any other assigned duties.
What You'll Need
Age: Must be 18 years of age or older.
1-3 years' experience in warehouse or manufacturing, including operating forklifts
Valid driver's license required.
Ability to pass a driving assessment and adhere to safe driving practices.
Ability to operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) or learn how to operate it. MHE certification (Order Picker, Reach Truck, and Forklift) will be required.
Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including lifting up to 35lbs repeatedly and 50lbs occasionally, wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and meeting weight safety standards to operate MHE.
If operating the order picker, weight must be under 300lbs in accordance with equipment manufacturer specifications and safety regulations.
