As a Customer Account Advisor at Aaron's, you will serve as a coach to our customers, helping them with payment collections and lease agreement renewals to ensure their satisfaction. You will build strong relationships with customers over the phone and in-person, guiding them towards ownership.Skills for Success:- Ability to connect and relate well with people from all backgrounds- Empathy and attentive listening skills- Ability to explain things in a simple and easy-to-understand manner- Effective in navigating difficult conversations- Strong multitasking, organization, negotiation, and persuasion skills- Passion for making a positive impact in others' lives through personal connectionsResponsibilities include:- Managing customers' accounts, updating information, and scheduling payment appointments- Contacting customers who have not renewed their lease agreements, both through home visits and phone calls- Educating customers on the benefits of timely lease renewal payments- Assisting the Customer Account Manager in achieving revenue and renewal goals- Supporting with merchandise returns and guest deliveries- Maintaining the company vehicle and ensuring product safety during transport- Assisting the Sales Team as needed and performing any reasonable duties requested by managementRequirements:- At least 21 years old (18 in Canada) with a valid driver's license- Must meet DOT requirements (United States) for certification- Ability to work flexible hours between 8 am and 9 pm- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without help and up to 300 lbs. with assistance- Preferably, two years of retail/customer service experience and a high school diploma or equivalent- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and computer skills- Professional appearance and telephone etiquette- Uphold the Aaron's Brand and protect company assetsAaron's Total Rewards:Our team members are highly valued.
