Part-Time CDL Skills Examiner 
 
$25.00/Hour (up to 19 hours per week)

Duties:
Administer CDL Skills testing in compliance with State and Federal laws in all weather conditions to evaluate skill and competence of Commercial Driver License applicants.
Determine physical conditions of and driving qualifications of applicants and the mechanical condition of vehicles in conformance with established State and Federal guidelines.
Utilize computer software programs to enter test results.
Required Qualifications:

• Active Montana Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• One year experience working with computerized data systems.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• One year of customer service experience.
• Other combinations of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Clean driving and background records with ability to obtain State of Montana tester approval.
• Must be willing and able to work outdoors in inclement weather
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

• Intensive background check
• Driving history
• Drug testing

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a CDL skills testing examiner or CDL trainer.
