In this role, you will be responsible for elevating JLG’s business intelligence by leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s information technology infrastructure, systems, processes, and documentation.

JLG Architects is committed to ensuring the security of our data and assets, as well as the overall support of all employee owners. As IT Manager, you will play a crucial role in this effort, alongside our IT Director, and with the support of our IT Staff. This position includes the management or oversight of all IT support staff, hardware, and software – ensuring security protocols are effectively in place. If you have a strong understanding of current IT security protocols and can master the responsibility of implementing and maintaining these protocols, JLG is the place for you!

JLG Architects is seeking an IT Manager that…

• Is educated and experienced. You have earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field – bringing a proven track record of managing IT departments with a minimum of five years’ experience in a similar role.
• Is ready to defend and manage. You have a strong knowledge of IT security protocols and industry standards with experience managing network administration, server administration, and workstation support.
• Is collaborative. You’re a team collaborator tackling project management with strong communication, interpersonal skills, and analytical prowess.
• Is a navigator. You’re the Spiderman of network navigation, mapping out creative solutions and fast-paced problem-solving to manage the installation and maintenance of all hardware and software, including servers, workstations, and network equipment.
• Is a knowledge seeker. You stay current with new technologies and trends in the IT industry to ensure the company uses the best and most cost-effective solutions – working with the IT Director to identify needs and develop solutions to support operations.
• Can take the heat. You have the confidence to ensure all IT systems are backed up and disaster recovery procedures are in place – making sure systems are secure while complying with industry standards and regulations.
• Is a leader. You have the know-how to develop and implement effective IT strategies and policies to support the company's overall business objectives.
• Is knowledgeable or ready to learn. Prior experience in the architecture or construction industry is a plus, but if you don’t know – we’re happy to teach.
