JL Construction Corp of West Springfield, MA is looking to hire a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to maintain our construction fleet. This position is responsible for performing preventative maintenance along with repairs to keep our fleet running smoothly and minimizing downtime. This is a shop-based position with local job site visits as needed. This is a Full time or Part time position for the right candidate.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CONSTRUCTION LABORER

• High School Diploma or GED required
• OSHA 10 Certification
• 3 years of relevant experience as a heavy equipment operator
• Valid Drivers License
• Hoisting and CDL License preferred but not mandatory
• Must be punctual, reliable and possess excellent work ethic
• Willingness to travel locally to various job sites as needed
• Experience working on the following equipment but not limited to: CAT, Komatsu, Volvo, Mack, John Deere, Kubota, Bobcat

WORK SCHEDULE

This full-time or part-time position typically works days, Monday - Friday and occasional weekends
