Title: Organizational Change Management (OCM) Lead
Location:  Washington D.C., or Maryland
Classification: Salary, Exempt
Travel: 25%
Security Requirement: Must provide favorable background check.

Position Expectations:

  • The Organization Change Management (OCM) Lead will play a key role in ensuring projects (change initiatives) meet objectives by increasing employee adoption and usage. The person will focus on the people side of change – including changes to business processes, systems and technology, jobs roles, and organizational structures. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that integrate human-centered design approaches that maximize employee adoption and minimize resistance.
  • Perform all required responsibilities and duties in accordance with JJR’s code of conduct
  • Actively engage in your role, make informed decisions, be accountable for all outcomes, and be a positive influence for JJR
  • Deliver exceptional service to internal and external clients, partners, teammates.
  • Provide leadership to drive and support optimal performance
  • Contribute to JJR’s strategic initiatives required to achieve JJR’s Grounded & Growing 2025 objectives
  • Support business development activities when appropriate

Duties:

  • Scan the client environment from the perspective of “Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership, Personnel, Facilities, and Policy” for risks to project success
  • Lead and implement change initiatives related to business processes and technologies
  • Drive adoption and proficiency of changes within the organization in compliance with client’s Change Management methodologies
  • Develop project strategies, plans and workshops including stakeholder assessment, communications, leadership alignment, organization transition, change readiness, capability transfer, and end-user training
  • Integrate human-centered design tools and approaches to design change experiences and engage within the organization
  • Facilitate change management activities with cross-functional team members and stakeholders to understand and ensure adoption
  • Deliver superior quality service in alignment with JJR’s ISO certified Quality Management System
  • Additional duties as assigned

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Systems Management, Organizational Development, or related field
  • 7 years’ experience leading people and managing projects
  • 5 years’ experience in organizational change management and implementation
  • Understand the principles of human-centered design
  • JJR may choose to substitute education with relevant experience

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or similar field
  • Experience working in the public sector and/or with a civilian organization
  • Must be a leader who can influence stakeholders in written and verbal communication
  • Self-starter and results-oriented, able to work under minimal mentorship
  • Certified Prosci Change Practitioner (or able to obtain certification within first 30 days) and/or Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Experience integrating human-centered design or design thinking methods and mindset within the change process
  • Experience leading large-scale organizational change management for CX initiatives for enterprise organizations.

TOTAL COMPENSATION PACKAGE

Salary: In accordance with various state and federal pay transparency regulations, as well as best industry practices, our job descriptions include the salary range we reasonably expect to pay those joining our team, contingent upon little to no training being required. A final salary is subject to a number of factors, including but not limited to the following: years of experience, education, certification(s), training, specialized skills, responsibilities, etc.

The range of pay for this position is $98,500-$123,500.

Core Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Monthly $200 HSA Match, Complimentary $50k Basic Life and AD&D (eligible employees), STD, Complimentary LTD, AFLAC Coverage, etc.

PTO, Flexible Schedule, and Holidays: Employees receive a robust amount of PTO along with flexible/hybrid working schedules and additional support for new parents. JJR also observes a total of 11 paid federal holidays annually, including: New Year's Day, President's Day, 4th of July, Veteran's Day, Christmas, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Columbus Day.
