Years of Related Experience Required: 3-5 years of related experience.
Degree Requirement: BS/ BA is desired.
Description of Required Experience/Skills:
• 3-5 years of experience in framing, preparing and negotiating US Government and commercial agreements to include sole
source and competitive awards.
• Experience with various Contract/Subcontract types to include Fixed Price (FP), Time & Material (T&M), Cost Plus Fixed
Fee (CPFF), Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ).
• Adept at contractual reviews, contract analysis with the aptitude to work on diverse contractual issues.
• Assist in reconciliation of funding issues on contracts under purview and communicate with cross-functional departments
and customers while working towards resolution.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and execute non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and teaming agreements (TAs).
• Draft, review and negotiate contractual agreements, to include crafting Statements of Work (SOWs), requirements and
contract flow-downs.
• Serve as the point of contact to external customers on contractual matters within purview.
• Manage contractual baseline by maintaining awareness and tracking of contract modifications, due dates, deliverables, etc.
• Maintain contract filing system to ensure accurate tracking of all contract documents, modifications and agreements.
• Ability to work collaboratively with both internal and external customers.
• Strong work ethic with a commitment to ensure that all deadlines are met on time and with a high degree of quality.
• Ability to work independently on moderately complex projects/assignments by setting priorities and exercising sound
judgment within areas of responsibility.
• Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Description of Desired Experience/Skills:
• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in a related field. In lieu of a degree, equivalent experience in a contracting
environment will be considered.
• Demonstrated understanding of US Government Acquisition Regulations and working knowledge of FAR and DFARS
• Prior experience managing contracts with Deltek Costpoint
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and database applications.
• Ability to conduct web-based research and applicable government regulations, etc.
• Adaptable to changes in dynamic work environment, workload and managing competing demands.
