Summary

J Geiger Shading Technology is seeking qualified installation technicians for our growing national brand of high-end automated window shading technology.

As a J Geiger Shade Technician, you will be responsible for installing and programming J|Geiger Shading Systems in residential and commercial properties, and ensuring that each project meets your and our exceptional standard.

Based in historic Charleston, SC—with showrooms in LA and NYC, and offices in Aspen and Miami, J Geiger Shading is redefining the shading industry with our patented shading systems and brackets that are beautifully designed to be seen, or seamlessly vanish when needed.

Unlike other shading systems that use traditional mounts with exposed screws and detracting hardware, Geiger meticulously designed his system to be exposed, offering an innovative solution that has a new set of standards for modern shading.

Key Responsibilities:

(May include the following and is not limited to) 

• Installation of J|Geiger Window Shading Systems, wiring, and programming.
• Executes projects according to the project plans
• Maintains forms and records to document project activities
• Updates management on the progress of installation projects
• In conjunction with the project team, reviews the quality of the work completed to ensure that it meets the project and personal standard

Skills and Qualifications: 

• Experienced shade technicians and installers and/or those with a background in construction

• Must have valid driver’s license

• Advanced customer service skills and professional presentation

• Ability to set priorities, develop work schedules and effectively monitor progress towards goals

• Innovative, the ability to develop new and unique ways to improve operations, processes, and tackle challenges

• Work Hours: M-F 8am – 4pm

• Experience programming Home Control Systems a plus
