Overview

Jewish Family and Children’s Service is looking for a multi-talented business intelligence analyst, skilled in NextGen and SQL to assist with business intelligence reports utilized in behavioral health and primary care. This position will support patient population and HEDIS data reporting.

Responsibilities

• The BI Analyst will work with Administrative and Clinical users to refine and design effective reporting processes and procedures. The expectation is that this analytical position will provide data to drive business decisions at the clinic and direct-service level.
• Business Intelligence employs an electronic ticketing system to assist users in getting their reporting needs addressed. This position will serve as the first level response to tickets and reporting requests. The position will be able to formulate high level presentations and be explanatory with end users in how to understand and improve their data reporting requirements.
• The perfect fit will have proven NEXTGEN and EHR experience and have subject expertise with complex Excel functionality. Business Intelligence is admired for its data capabilities and data analytics and the person selected for this position will have a proven track record of high performance.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with writing, modifying and troubleshooting SQL
• Expertise in using Excel and/or Power BI to present data in both pivot tables and graphs
• Experience using an Electronic Health Record, NextGen preferred
• Experience in assisting others in a supportive or training role
• Solution-oriented thinker
• Able to work independently with limited direction
• Comfortable facilitating meetings (in person and virtual)
• Team and customer service oriented
• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field preferred
