JET AIR INC is Hiring a Front Desk Near Parnell, IA

Jet Air Inc. is seeking a self-motivated and reliable Customer Service Representative to work in a team environment at our Iowa City location. The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers, is expected to exhibit a high level of professionalism at all times, and is required to maintain confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers in a friendly, professional manner
  • Coordinate ground transportation, lodging, and catering for customers and crew members as required
  • Partner with line service technicians to prepare and meet all arriving and departing aircraft
  • Operate multi-line phone system and direct incoming calls to appropriate personnel and departments
  • Maintain cleanliness and appearance of Jet Air Inc. facilities, furnishings, and grounds; address deficiencies; and maintain neat and organized work areas
  • Accurately input data, prepare invoices, and process payments in aviation-based computer program
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues via ground and aeronautical radios
  • Occasionally operate customer and company vehicles as needed
  • Some traveling may be required on occasion
  • Must support and adhere to company policies

  • This position includes shift work which requires working days, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Competencies:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills using phones, radios, emails, and in person
  • Proficient computer skills using basic office programs and aviation-specific programs
  • Exceptional organizational skills, and attention to detail is of upmost importance
  • Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and be insurable by company insurance policy
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and multitask

Requirements:

  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Acceptable driving record
  • Zero-tolerance drug free employer, may include pre-employment and random screening
  • Customer service/hospitality experience preferred
  • Previous FBO and aviation experience preferred but not required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour

Schedule:

  • 12 hour shift
  • Weekend availability

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
