Skills and Requirements:

-3 years or more in the trade (w/ reference), ASE Certified & Diagnostic experience is a plus

-Must have tools 

-609 Cert helpful.

-Ability to use computerized equipment for vehicles

-Must be able to test drive vehicles before and after repairs, - valid driver’s license is required.

-Basic computer skills preferred for data entry into maintenance systems

-Must be able to complete employment application and must be able to pass a drug/background test

Responsibilities:

-Perform minor component repair and all aspects of preventative maintenance.

-Inspect, diagnose and repair brake systems, engines, electrical components, cooling systems, steering systems, transmissions and tires.

-perform diagnostic tests for routine maintenance procedures and determine a course of action for damaged parts and systems.

-Repair malfunctioning components, retrofit engines, change brakes, adjust steering systems, replace worn-out parts and change fluids.

-Working knowledge in the use of hand tools required including but not limited to - hydraulic jacks, pneumatic wrenches and precision gauges. Experience with shop equipment is a plus.

-Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required

-Must have a positive attitude and willingness to grow in position along with strong work ethics and commitment to work the hours necessary to accomplish the job duties
