The Opportunity
The Engineer in Training (EIT) position is an entry level position for a career in mineral processing, metallurgical engineering, and mechanical engineering. The main objective of the position is professional and personal development of future technical experts and functional leaders. The candidate will participate in a 30-month rotational program through different areas of the processing plant and mine. EITs will work and train alongside operational, metallurgical, and maintenance groups to gain fundamental knowledge of the mineral processing operation. The program will provide excellent opportunities to gain real-world experience and hone communication, leadership, and technical skills. Upon completion of the program, EITs will be eligible for a completion bonus and promotion to Engineer II position.
Jerritt Canyon is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Training who will be responsible for providing engineering expertise and advice to support the maintenance and management of the Fixed Plant equipment.
