Job Summary:
The Chief Financial Officer leads and ensures the finance function supports Jenzabar’s (“the Company”) fiscal requirements while facilitating the Company’s growth. They work collaboratively with the entire Senior Leadership Team (“SLT”) team to set the strategic direction for the Company’s growth and success. The CFO partners closely with the senior leadership team members and with key teams/members of Sales, Marketing, Product Development and Client Services for the same purposes. This position is also responsible for and oversees the Company’s IT, Security and Systems functions.
This will be a hybrid position and will require you to commute into the Boston office as needed.
The CFO will be expected to lead and scale the company from our current stage through our IPO and continue to grow in the coming years. Leading an IPO experience in the past five years as a CFO is required. They will take ownership of the entire IPO process with the CEO, from pre-IPO to post and participate with the CEO on the IPO road show in 2023. Background in growth-stage technology businesses is desired. The CFO is a change agent and a highly process-oriented leader, which is required to lead the transformation and scale of the company. To effectively and professionally present to and engage with a wide range of audiences in/out-side of finance and in/out-side the company, they must have excellent leadership capabilities, proven business partnering and outstanding communication skills.
As the finance leader and member of the SLT, it is essential to have: 1. the ability to build and foster professional relationships, and 2. the capability to develop innovative ideas and entrepreneurial solutions.
The CFO leads a finance team across various Company verticals and drives, builds and scales the company’s finance organization. This position is a strategic partner to the leadership and management teams across Jenzabar to focus on the Company’s fiscal management and the Company’s continued growth. More specifically, the CFO leads key areas of the finance function including strategic planning, financial planning & analysis, forecasting and reporting along with finance business partnering with internal and external business constituents.
This individual will offer quality, meaningful analyses, and financial perspectives necessary for corporate decisions, strategic and operational planning. They will also have significant experience in establishing and or improving efficient business and financial planning processes, budgeting, building strategic frameworks and financial models, driving critical financial decisions, assessing corporate model changes and generating timely financial and management reports.
As the leader of the IT, Security and Systems functions, it is the responsibility of the CFO to develop the strategy as it relates to the Company’s IT infrastructure, Systems and Security, ensuring that all areas of the organization are productive, secure, and utilizing best practices and systems.

Prior Experience & Qualifications:
It is critical that this person has spent time in large, private and public organizations, is comfortable in a highly visible role, at the same time is capable and willing to roll up their sleeves and operate within a dynamic company.
The pay range for this position is $175,000-$275,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, geographic location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus in addition to a full range of benefits.
