JOB TITLE: INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY NETWORK COORDINATOR

Jefferson Industries Corporation (JIC) is a tier-one supplier to Honda America Manufacturing specializing in the fabrication of stamped and welded automotive structural parts. JIC is located in a small community approximately 20 miles west of Columbus, Ohio.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This employee is responsible for ensuring that the appropriate operational security posture is maintained, support the monitoring of JIC networks to detect and correct areas of security non-compliance, unmitigated vulnerabilities, and other risks in order to prevent insider threats and external threats. Enforces security governance by monitoring and administering security technologies (IPS/IDS, Firewalls, DDoS Protection, Anti-Virus, Server Patching, Web-Filtering, NAC, Data Loss Prevention, Proxy and E-mail filtering, identity management system and tokenization)

Duties of this position include but are not limited to:

• Addressing and investigating detected security alerts.
• Ensuring firmware and software security updates are applied.
• Assisting the Information Services management in the form of requirements analysis, network security design, implementation, problem investigation and resolution.
• Create security awareness training materials.
• Resolve calls that have been recorded in the IT Helpdesk system.
• Provide hands-on and remote workstation support services; provide support services when requested by peers and clients.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• College degree in data communications engineering, computer science or a related field.
• 2 years experience in similar position
• Demonstrate knowledge of current security products and services available and applicable to LAN/WAN and data communications systems.
• Demonstrate knowledge of computing systems, electronics, and software development required to design, manage, and trouble-shoot high performance client-server network applications.
• Demonstrate experience in client-server network applications.
• Ability to work effectively with personnel on all levels.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Network security certification (Security , CISM, CISA, CISSP)
• Knowledge of business continuity and recovery processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
