Blue Yonder, Inc. 15059 N Scottsdale Rd, Ste 400 Scottsdale, AZ 85254 Blue Yonder Title: External Reporting Manager Financial Reporting Manager Overview: Blue Yonder, Inc, is looking for a highly motivated individual with a background in US GAAP and external reporting to join our External Reporting team. This position will report to the Director of External Reporting. Location: Virtual - US Our current technical environment: Software: Workday, Blackline, Microsoft Excel External Reporting Manager Summary The External Reporting Manager will be responsible for preparing the monthly and quarterly financial reporting package. They will work closely with other departments to coordinate financial statement audit requests and provide insights on financial information as needed. The manager will be responsible research and implementation of new US GAAP accounting standards and new transactions and issues that might arise. They will work with accounting teams in other regions to analyze, identify and investigate financial statement variances on a global basis. Position Description Responsible for the preparation of quarterly and annual reporting package including external financial statements with GAAP. Coordinate the financial statements audits and act as liaison between other finance department and third-party audit firm. Work with other finance departments to ensure compliance with GAAP. Research accounting issues as required for new accounting pronouncements and company transactions, along with draft white papers and present findings to senior management. Lead teams in the successful implementation of accounting changes due to new US GAAP standards. Develop and empower a highly effective global dotted-line team of professionals responsible for building, maintaining, and improving accounting reporting. Lead and provide global guidance and support to the local accounting teams. Develop tools, guidelines, and training materials consistent with corporate policies and best practices for new accounting policies Initiate appropriate corrective action and lead cross functional teams, as necessary to prevent or address significant accounting issues. Maintain consistent communication between various departments to ensure gathered requirements are clear, well-defined, and understood. Participate in month-end close by performing a variety of accounting tasks, including posting journal entries and account reconciliations. Specific tasks would include but not be limited to: Capitalization of internally developed software costs Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders and partner to achieve desired outcomes. Responsible for analysis of and adherence to system of internal control. Identify accounting process that would benefit from improved automation. Other Corporate projects as needed. What we are looking for: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial reporting preferably Big 4 Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP (along with IFRS knowledge is preferred) Experience with Technical Accounting required Attention to detail and ability to work independently Willingness to support multiple time zones Outstanding written and verbal communication skills CPA license required Proficient with Microsoft Office, with strong Excel knowledge *LI-EW1 #LI-Remote ------------------------------------------- The salary range for this position is: USD $102,250.00 – $128,950.00. The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
