Glen Ivy Golf Club, a JC Golf property, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, safety-minded Irrigation Technician with strong attention to detail. This role will be responsible for monitoring, regulating, and controlling irrigation of the golf course to ensure the highest possible standards of appearance and condition.

The expected base wage range for this position is: $16.30 to $25.30 per hour. This position may be eligible for additional compensation according to the Company’s policies, as they may be amended from time to time.

HIGHLIGHTS OF WHAT YOU GET TO DO:

• Ensure, on a daily basis, proper level of water application to all landscaped areas within the golf course.

• Repair, replace, or upgrade sprinklers, fittings, and valves as needed to ensure their safe and effective operation.

• Install new irrigation and electrical pipe, fittings, valves, sprinklers, and controllers, as directed.

• Monitor and maintain, on a daily basis, the operation of the irrigation pumping station.

• Continuously remove trash and other debris from the golf course in order to maintain the highest possible standards of appearance and safety.

• Practice safe work habits at all times to avoid injury to self and others including the safe operation of all power driven machinery.

• Golf Course maintenance duties as needed such as: mowing greens and daily course set up.

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Able to speak English and follow simple verbal instructions.

• Experienced in the use, maintenance and repair of all relevant tools and equipment.

• Experienced with operation, maintenance, and repair of large sprinklers, valves, controllers, and other relevant tools and equipment.

• Must be adept at PVC plastic repairs, and familiar with pipe sizing and fittings.

• Minimum 2 years of greenskeeping experience with exposure to irrigation, or combination of related training and experience.
