JC Licht is currently recruiting for a Shipping and Receiving associate. Most time is spent working in the warehouse receiving shipments of new orders. Assist the customer service manager performing maintenance and organizational related tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Physically receive incoming shipments of new blinds, shades, and shutters.
• Pull packing slips from shipments and match to the custom order on file
• Record receipt of products in software program
• Inform installation department when all packages are received for any given order.
• Store all packages in a neat and organized manner.
• Pull and stage all products ready for installation the day prior to each installation.
• Pack and ship products in need of repair to be returned to vendors on an as needed basis
• Ensure that all boxes and packaging materials returned to the warehouse are broken down and disposed of properly
• General clean up and maintenance
• Assist installers in the field on large scope projects
• Deliver products to other JCLicht locations and/or customers home on an as needed basis.
• Other duties as required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or commensurate work experience.
• Valid Driver’s license with a safe driving record that meets company standards.
• Ability to lift, load, unload, carry and move products weighing up to 50lbs.
• Ability to stand and/or be on your feet 6-8 hours a day.
• Ability to safely operate job related equipment (i.e. hand truck)
• Good Verbal and written communications
• Good customer service skills
• Basic computer skills
