Cost Analyst Intern Location: Morgantown, Pennsylvania How You Will Make an Impact? This three-month summer 2023 internship is a full-time position intended for college students enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program focused on Accounting, Finance or a related field of study. The Nuts and Bolts We are seeking college students eager to enter into a clear development path in Financial Accounting or Cost Accounting within Morgan Corporation. You will be provided with training and mentorship for a variety of aspects within Accounting and will have the opportunity to work on high-value projects. Financial General Accounting includes gaining professional experience in general accounting to include account reconciliations, month end close, sales and use tax, and journal entries. This internship will help you to identify areas of high interest as they relate to our industry and could lead to a full-time position in our Accounting and Finance Department. Required Credentials Entering the senior year of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or a related field of study in progress during the summer of 2023. Understanding of accounting principles. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills. High level of personal accountability and a strong sense of urgency. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office. You Must Be Able to Working in an office environment in a seated position a minimum of eight hours per day is required. The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas where under certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection. Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
