Purpose:

Responsible for the installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and related infrastructure.

Essential functions 

• Provide 3^rd level of support for helpdesk requests
• Engages with other IT team members to insure issue resolution and support
• Assists with planning and executing IT supported rollouts and upgrades of software and hardware
• Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures
• Install new/rebuild servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements
• Configuration automation and monitoring through Microsoft System Center
• Develops workstation golden image and maintains latest updates on reference images
• Apply OS updates, antivirus, and upgrades on a regular basis
• Maintain data center environmental and monitoring equipment

Required Experience/ Knowledge

• 4-6 years of proven system administration experience
• Working knowledge of VMWare and Hyper-V virtual machine hypervisors
• Windows 2008R2-Windows Server 2016 with common roles i.e. DNS, DHCP, Print, DFS, IIS, WSUS, PKI, RDS
• Experience supporting Microsoft Server products i.e. AD, SQL, Exchange, SharePoint, Clustering, System Center, POwershell, etc.
