Jaxon Engineering and Maintenance is Hiring a Project Manager Near Colorado, CO

Description

Jaxon Engineering is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Sustainment team.

Jaxon is the leading full-service provider of High-Altitude Electromagnetic Pulse (HEMP) services worldwide, delivering world-class engineering, testing, construction, and sustainment services. The successful candidate will possess the ability to provide operational oversight of projects, as well as scheduling, purchasing, asset and labor allocation, and budget management. The selected candidate will be a team player, empowering those around them while stretching performance standards for self and others. This is a results-oriented “doer” who passionately finds ways over, around, and through barriers to success.

Salary: $95,000 - $125,000 per year, plus bonus eligibility.

Security Clearance: Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Top Secret clearance.

Primary Duties

  • Lead technical teams with a continuous improvement and team development mindset
  • Create and maintain project schedules in MS Project
  • Develop and maintain trust and rapport with critical clients
  • Schedule and communicate complex tasks for workforce and resource allocation
  • Track and report project cost and time expenses
  • Orchestrate purchasing and logistics for project execution
  • Develop complete technical and cost related documents
  • Manage multiple types of projects (construction, engineering, and maintenance) with multiple stakeholders
  • Forecast resources for short and long-term projects
  • Provide support and clear communication for project execution teams
  • Provide leadership to support the ongoing growth of the company
  • Desire to mentor others and possess the skills to do so at a high level
  • Periodic travel required

Requirements

  • BA 5 years experience, or 10 years experience; experience must be in project management for a specifically related field such as Dept. of Defemse contracting or EMP protection
  • Experience coordinating project teams and schedules
  • Proficient with MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint & especially MS Project)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Dept. of Defense issued Top Secret clearance
  • Excellent interpersonal skills addressing and resolving conflict
  • A willingness to be coached and willing to learn new skills in a growing industry
  • PMP or EIT/PE, a plus
  • Experience with NetSuite or other ERP system, a plus
