We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines that enable seamless data integration, transformation, and loading into our platform. You will work closely with backend engineers and data analysts to ensure that our platform supports data-driven decision-making.

Location: Northern Virginia or Atlanta, GA

Clearance : Secret or Top Secret

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines to import client data.
• Build and optimize data storage solutions using SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Collaborate with backend engineers and data analysts to ensure seamless data integration.
• Ensure data integrity and scalability in data pipelines.
• Monitor data workflows and troubleshoot issues when necessary.
• Work with cloud-based data infrastructure (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or related field.
• 7-10 years experience
• Proven experience with ETL tools and data pipeline management.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data pipeline tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, AWS Glue).
• Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with large datasets.

Certifications : CompTIA Security , Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) preferred.

Languages and Tools :

• Programming Languages : Python, Java, Scala, SQL.

• Tools : Apache Spark, Apache Hadoop, Apache Airflow, AWS Glue, ETL frameworks.

• Cloud Platforms : AWS (GovCloud), Microsoft Azure (DoD), Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Databases : PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, NoSQL.

• Security Frameworks : Experience with NIST, RMF, and FISMA compliance
