Janney Montgomery Scott LLC is Hiring a Compensation Analyst Near Philadelphia, PA

Mission: Janney’s mission is to deliver personalized advice beyond investments through its 875 financial advisors. The Compensation Analyst will be a key contributor to Janney’s award winning HR team and HR mission to create and foster a work environment that rewards both individual and team achievement, provides flexibility, professional development, and ongoing engagement opportunities. What you are good at: Data Analysis – obtaining, validating, analyzing, organizing, and presenting data from multiple systems and sources. Teamwork & Program Management – collaborating within HR and other support functions - ensuring processes, procedures and programs are documented – preparing and delivering training and enablement material. Initiative and Critical thinking - identifying ways to improve and automate – questioning current state and anticipating roadblocks Responsibilities: Oversee the daily transactional review of compensation-related inquiries and requests. Create and maintain job classification (job catalog, job descriptions, job codes). Perform ad hoc compensation analysis and studies. Formulate recommendations regarding development of salary structure, FLSA exemptions and job revisions. Compensation surveys and benchmarking (participate in surveys and other market intelligence activities) Execute annual compensation cycles (conducting training and communications, generating reports and dashboards) Participate in cross functional projects that impact compensation. Review existing and proposed statutory requirements governing compensation administration and recommend appropriate courses of action What you have: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Human Resources, or related field. CCP or CHR certification preferred At least 2-4 years of experience in a Compensation related function Demonstrated strong analytical, mathematical/statistical, data mining and technical skills; ability to perform independent in-depth analysis and present findings. Ability to work in a self-directed manner with high level of initiative, attention to detail, ability to multi-task & prioritize and consistently meet deadlines Proficient with MS and HRIS (e.g. Dayforce, ADP, Workday, SuccessFactors..) Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain relationships at all organizational levels Why work for us?
