Job Summary:
Home Care - The Physical Therapist Assistant provides treatment and manual techniques under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. The PTA is expected to manage a full caseload and complete all documentation required for patient care.
Location: Monmouth County NJ
Essential Functions:
Provides PT interventions that are safe, effective, and in compliance with JAG-ONE guidelines
Manages and delegates to support staff as needed for patient care
Completes documentation of notes in WebPT EMR in timely manner as per JAG-ONE guidelines
Maintains state regulated CEU requirements for PTA license
Attends annual JAG-ONE Billing/Coding seminar
Assists with cleanliness and organization of facility
Educates the surrounding community through lectures/presentations
Demonstrates respectful intervention with patients, colleagues, and others
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
Physical Therapy Assistant Associate degree required
Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in appropriate state (NJ)
Excellent oral, written communication
Maintains positive, professional behavior at all times
