Position Summary:
Perform construction laborer tasks on commercial buildings and facilities under the direction of the General Superintendent and Project Superintendent.
- Jobsite setup and maintenance tasks include: receiving, unloading, and placement of materials and equipment at work areas; placement and relocation of temporary lights, cords, safety equipment, barriers, etc.; clean-up of work areas and jobsite; placement and maintenance of erosion control materials.
- Assist carpenters and other construction personnel in various construction tasks and operations.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience:
- General knowledge of construction trade practices.
- 5 years of experience as a construction laborer is preferred.
- General knowledge of safety regulations.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Maintain professionalism in actions and appearance.
- Certifications and training in the use and operations of various tools, equipment, lifts and scaffolding as required to perform the tasks.
