Description
The Ultrasound Technician (Sonographer)will work in the Radiology department and is responsible for using ultrasound equipment to help visualize internal anatomy functions. Jackson Parish Hospital is critical access hospital located in Jonesboro, Louisiana, offering a full benefit package for full-time employment including medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, life insurance, retirement, accrued time off, and other supplemental plans. Requirements
· Graduate of an accredited ultrasound school in general, vascular, or cardiac modalities.
· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in performing ultrasound procedures preferred.
· Current ARDMS certification is required.
· Current BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
·Must have RVT (Registered Vascular Tech) certification if performing vascular ultrasound or another RVT must be present at time vascular ultrasound is performed
