The Administrative Assistant also assists with Code of Ethics oversight process, updates policies and procedures, generates quarterly Board reporting, participates in various projects and assists management with reporting required by JNAM’s parent company, Jackson Financial Inc. Essential Job Responsibilities Supports management in the implementation of the JNAM Compliance Program, Assists with managing one or more processes and may manage cross functional projects as requested by JNAM’ Chief Compliance Officer and JNAM Compliance team. Updates compliance policies and procedures and reference material. Assists with the Code of Ethics process and new hire and annual Compliance training. Assists and submits regulatory filings, under the direction of superiors (e.g., Form ADV, Form PF). Assists with monitoring regulatory developments. Provides administrative support in preparing memoranda on compliance related issues for management and JNL Funds’ Board. Demonstrates superior characteristics in terms of quality work product, dependability, attitude, and overall willingness to contribute to team goals. Schedules and maintains calendar of appointments, meetings, travel itineraries and coordinates related arrangements. Designs presentation slides with original graphic content for a variety of audiences. Provides administrative support including creation and maintenance of reports, charts, spreadsheets, documents and presentations. Creates and maintains department metrics. Establishes, maintains and updates files and records. Sends company-wide announcements and/or informational emails. Processes financial documents including department invoices and executive expense reports. Screens, organizes and prioritizes phone calls, visitors and incoming mail. Coordinates office moves, new hire workspace, and minor office reconstruction. May order supplies for the office. Other Duties Performs other duties and/or projects as assigned by JNAM’s CCO and JNAM Compliance. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Solid written and verbal communication skills including the ability to edit and compose correspondence. Solid interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with senior management and peers. Solid PC skills including Microsoft Office software and other relevant software applications. Ability to prioritize, coordinate multiple activities and follow up on projects with minimum supervision. Ability to handle sensitive confidential information. Must be detail oriented and focused on accuracy. Qualifications H.S. Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.). required. Associate's Degree preferred. 3 years of related experience required.
