The Registered Nurse (RN) performs the functions of assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care for the assigned patients in the operating room/endoscopy utilizing critical thinking skills and sound decision-making during a shift. The RN is responsible for practicing nursing using accepted Standards of Practice, adhering to Jackson Hospital policies and procedures, and supporting regulatory requirements. The RN is responsible to guide and direct assigned personnel, effectively plan for and manage supplies and equipment in areas of responsibility, and collaborate with all members of the health care team. The RN demonstrates personal and professional responsibility, participates in creating an atmosphere of teamwork, collaboration, and actively supports an atmosphere for continual learning. The RN assumes responsibility for his/her own professional development. 1 year RN experience.
