A Jackson Hewitt receptionist is responsible for providing positive interactions with clients, assisting with appointments, and processing client documentation. They play a vital role in the office which allows tax preparers to focus on their clients. A great receptionist improves the overall quality of the office and supports a satisfactory experience for both clients and employees. 
Duties will include: 
•Greeting clients, answering questions, and providing excellent customer service
•Operating the phone and JH Net systems
•Contacting clients to confirm, create, and manage appointments, and monitoring the in office lobby queue
•Collecting client documents, making copies, and scanning them into the data center
•Providing clients with their previously filed documents upon request
•Processing/collecting the clients payment for their tax preparation
•Maintaining a clean and presentable office lobby 
•Sanitizing commonly touched items and surfaces, enforcing COVID-19 guidelines for clients in the lobby, and providing assistance and necessary services in correlation with COVID-19.
