This position is for immediate hire.

Job Overview:

The Customer is seeking technical support with project integration, systems engineering projects, and quick reaction capability (QRC) developments to assist the Customer’s organization in solving complex and challenging problems. The contractor will track, analyze, investigate, and provide in-depth synopsis of Customer projects and technical initiatives from a wide range of disciplines, including network engineering, GPS technologies, data center operations, satellite data transport architectures, audio and video technology, systems security analysis, and communication electronics design.

This position will:

  • Work closely with project team leads and the Customer office on activities, including multi-site network connectivity, identification of hardware and applications needed to complete development processes and system security assessments, conducting risk assessments and mitigations, and advanced systems monitoring design and implementation.
  • Support position responsibilities such as developing and providing assessment briefings, attending customer meetings, and participating in all Customer activities related to the assignment and ensuring deliverables meet all relevant quality and security standards.
  • Act as member of technical team at design reviews, Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs), Monthly Status Reviews (MSRs), and major project milestones.

Required skills and demonstrated experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in systems integration, analysis, and business management experience, especially in information and communication systems, to include the development of system requirements, CONOPs, metrics, and integrated project management roadmaps.
  • Demonstrated experience presenting complex data to audiences, so that the message is clear and concise, to include organizational metrics.
  • Demonstrated experience to quickly create documents, briefings, and plans for office and group level engagement.
  • Demonstrated experience with strategic and tactical planning to include visioning and strategizing.
  • Experience with satellite collection and data handling, including tasking, exploitation, and data delivery.

Highly desired, though not required, include:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing a portfolio within the US Customer.
  • Demonstrated experience in systems engineering, integration, and methodology implementation.
  • Demonstrated experience with planning, programming, and budgeting within the US Customer.
  • Demonstrated experience with commercial low power micro electronic design and implementation techniques, including ASIC and MCM technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience with commercial satellite system architectures for new mission enhancements.
  • Demonstrated experience working within the Customer’s community and in a cross-office program or initiative.

US Citizenship:

  • This position requires US Citizenship. Verification of US Citizenship to meet federal government security requirements will be confirmed.

Security Clearance:

  • The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph.
  • Clearance Verification: This position requires successful verification of the stated security clearance to meet federal government customer requirements. You will be asked to provide clearance verification information prior to an offer of employment.

Travel:

  • This position is expected to be onsite. The position will be located within the Washington Metropolitan Area (WMA). 
  • Local travel/POV will be on an as needed basis, within the local place of performance.
