Job Overview:

The Customer’s mission is to turn IT disruptions into enterprise opportunities. The Customer handles technology gaps that are outside the scope of other organizations. The Customer requires support specializing in systems engineering to assist in identifying technology solutions to address technology gaps such as in cellular and cloud services. Priorities will be managed by the Customer project manager. 

The position will:

• Elicit and document user requirements from the customer and create the technical requirements document.
• Help the Customer identify technology solutions to address requirements. The Contractor shall assist the Customer with prototyping technical solutions to address technology problems, gaps, and risks. 
• Ensure technical solutions are scalable to meet enterprise requirements.
• Identify technical and security risks and develop mitigation strategies to address risks.
• Evaluate technologies for suitability and applicability to address the Customer’s requirements.
• Shall evaluate process changes to Customer business and mission requirements.
• Present recommendations in both oral and written forms.
• Develop use cases for the Customer’s business needs.
• Assist the Customer with testing products against use cases. 

Required skills and demonstrated experience:

• Demonstrated hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure. 
• Demonstrated experience with other cloud service providers such as AWS and Google. 
• Demonstrated experience integrating solutions in a production environment. 
• Demonstrated experience with enterprise IT systems design and implementation. 
• Demonstrated experience with hypervisors and virtual technologies. 
• Demonstrated experience with networking devices and firewalls. 
• Demonstrated experience with security concepts related to DNS, routing, authentication, certificate authentication, and VPN tunneling.

Highly desired, though not required, include:

• BA/BS degree in a technical discipline or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Demonstrated experience with cellular technologies. 
• Demonstrated experience with Android and iOS operating systems

• This position requires US Citizenship. Verification of US Citizenship to meet federal government security requirements will be confirmed.

Security Clearance:

• The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph.
• Clearance Verification: This position requires successful verification of the stated security clearance to meet federal government customer requirements. You will be asked to provide clearance verification information prior to an offer of employment.

Travel:

• This position is expected to be onsite. The position will be located within the Washington Metropolitan Area (WMA).
