What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation/Foreclosure Attorney position at J & J Staffing Resources?
Law Office in Southampton, Pa is looking to hire a Litigation / Foreclosure Attorney.
They are seeking candidates that have 1-3 years of experience with creditor’s rights litigation, including Pennsylvania foreclosure and bankruptcy.
Duties:
Assist in the preparation of litigation, trial, and appellate briefs
- Manage Litigation matters
- Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for new and different requests; take initiative to explore opportunities to add value to the job.
- Attend Sheriff’s sales, hearings, trials, and conciliation conferences
- Draft motions, certifications and praecipes relating to foreclosure litigation.
- Assist lead bankruptcy attorney with e-filing of all related pleadings.
- Oversee paralegals working on foreclosure matters throughout course of action
Skills:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and accuracy of work
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or under tight deadlines when required by management or supervisor.
- Ability to communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, and other team members.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
In addition to Microsoft Office:
- Worldox for document management
- TimeMatters for case management
- Black Knight’s LoanSphere, and Sagent/Tempo
Knowledge of these programs is a plus.
Salary commensurate with experience.
