JC Ford - Tennessee is seeking top talent to take our organization to the next level! We are actively seeking an HR Recruiter to join our team! We are seeking an in-house recruiter to work side by side with HR and Operational Partners to align with hiring needs for our location in Columbia, TN. The combination of top talent and state-of-the-art equipment has allowed JC Ford to meet the challenges of the tortilla and tortilla chip industry head-on and we continue to grow!

Essential Functions:

The Recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization. As a vital member of the HR team, the recruiter will support leadership in effective and accurate job postings, HRIS management, social media activity for hiring, attend and support community hiring evets and represent JC Ford in our community

Specific Responsibilities Include:

· Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process, including HRIS management.

· Utilizes recruiting tools and employs talent acquisition strategies to source external candidates by conducting on-site recruiting events, holding job fairs, and shopping to find potential talent.

· Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.

· Follow up and track all aspects of employment, such as completing employment forms,

· Support in the posting and updating of open positions on internal and external job boards.

· Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.

· Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.

· Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.

· Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.

· Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.

· Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.

· Assist with special projects as assigned by management.

· Comply with plant safety procedures to ensure a safe environment.

Requirements

Education:

· High School or equivalent experience

Experience and Background:

· Strong communication skills (Bilingual preferred but not required: English/Spanish)

· Knowledge of HRIS and Payroll systems required

· A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Human Resources support role.

· Ability to work a flexible schedule that meets the business needs, including nights, evenings, and weekends.

· Capacity to logically solve problems and manage projects by utilizing a data-driven, detail-oriented, approach.

· Analytical ability to prepare performance reports, cost/price analyses, and other performance measures.

· Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively.

· Demonstrated ability to work well with others and to participate in cross-functional teams.

· Possess ability to drive for results, hold self-accountable, and continuously improve.

Physical Requirements

The majority of the job function is performed in an office setting requiring normal safety precautions, but the job will also require from time to time to visit the production floor and in the warehouse.
